- Teaberry Ridge Mailbox Standards. With
Spring upon us, it is time to think about the outside of our
homes. A great many of our mailboxes are improperly
installed, leaning, and/or need spruced up or replaced this Spring, to
keep our neighborhood looking good and so as to protect our property
value investments in our homes.
In this regard, Teaberry Ridge has available the "official" Teaberry Ridge mailbox posts by contacting Board member Greg Petrick via one of the methods listed below. Paint and decals are also available. The Homeowners' Association has a contractor who makes the posts at a favorable price, and can provide installation as well.
Also, for your information, attached hereto is a letter from Ferguson Township regarding the standards for installation. Your compliance with the Township's installation directive is strongly encouraged.
- Doggy Doo. This time of year, more and more of our residents are using the nature trails and common areas for relaxation and to walk our dogs. It is highly unpleasant for your neighbors and our mowing contractors to come upon dog feces. Please be neighborly and comply with Township regulations by picking up after your dog!
- Atlee Circle Bicycle Path Access Improvements. Vehicles cutting unsafely across the Atlee Circle bicycle path access onto former Corl Street have been a problem for some time. Last year's Board's efforts resulted in stones being placed by the University to deter violators. We now have reason to believe that a permanent post and stone abutments will be placed shortly.Stay tuned.
- Speed limit. Please protect our kids, neighbors and pets by reducing your speed while driving within the development. No one wants speed bumps or other draconian speed reduction measures in Teaberry Ridge!
- Spring Brush and Leaf Collection. Ferguson Township will conduct one round of brush collection starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14th. Spring leaf collection will commence two weeks later on Monday, April 28th. Please see the www.twp.ferguson.pa.us website for details.
- Neighborhood Clean-up. The Great Pennsylvania Clean-up scheduled for April 19th, and Earth Day is April 22nd. Please pitch in to pick up litter in our neighborhood. Of course, you don't have to wait until the 19th! Thanks!
- Last Call for 2008 Lot Assessment Payments. Please note that the 2008 Lot Assessment payments are due by April 15, 2008. Thank you for your cooperation!
